What kind of fluid does it use?
Fill with standard lighter fluid (Zippo brand or generic). Not butane!
How do I refill it?
- Unscrew the bottom screw with a flathead screwdriver, then hold the lighter upside-down.
- Fill the refilling inlet with lighter fluid (not butane) slowly in increments, otherwise chamber will overflow and not fill up completely.
- Screw bottom screw back in, and wipe lighter and hands dry before igniting.
Does it come with lighter fluid?
No, lighter fluid isn't included, but you can get it at your local hardware store, convenience store, gas station, grocery store, smoke shop, or online for a few dollars.
How long does a full fill last?
That depends on how often you use it, but it can last about 1-2 weeks or more with regular use (a few lights per day).
Can I bring it on a plane?
Only in your carry-on if it's full and only in your checked luggage if it’s completely empty, but always check your airline’s policies before flying.
Is this really better than Bic?
